I’ve spent my entire life making music, and for the past 15+ years, I’ve devoted my attention to production and mixing. Great songs are my only goal, and I truly believe the right production and mix can make or break a great song.
The recording industry is rapidly changing, and most artists can’t afford the traditional method of spending weeks or months in a commercial studio. That’s not a reality for most, and might not even be the ideal situation for some artists. Investing in myself along the way has allowed me to own my studio, which is smaller than most traditional studios, but larger and more well-equipped than most home studios. In doing so, I have opened myself up to a larger spectrum of artists and budgets, without sacrificing quality or creativity.
As with most producers/engineers, I am a collector. I collect all things music-related. I’ve surrounded myself with tools and instruments that help keep me inspired, and stay at the cutting-edge of studio technology. Classic pieces of gear, combined with a modern workflow, allow me to work efficiently and still get the benefits of real analog and tube gear.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with many great bands and artists, labels and managers, along with legendary producers, mixers and mastering engineers. I’ve also worked with hundreds of independent artists, local bands, and everything in between. Every session teaches me something, and I try to put that knowledge to work on everything I do.
